Science Project Presentation

Format: The project will be presented in sections I through IV. Each section contains specific accomplishments within the project. See the description that follows. The paper will be typed and spaced in something appropriate. (Like this page.) Do not use fancy fonts like this one. Use a simple, easy to read font. (Like this one.) Do not use the first person. (Ex., I did my project…) Do not use filler "stuff". (Ex. Growing mold under the bed was such an exciting experience!)

In Part I, highlight the question yellow and the conclusion blue. Underline the hypothesis. Make a copy of all documents. All materials should fit in a standard sized folder/cover. Please do not use plastic term paper covers with the plastic edges that fall off. Do not enclose the written pages in plastic covers. Posters are not to be done at this time.

Part I:

Write a 5-10-page summary of the research and experiment. Maps, graphs, charts, or pictures that are absolutely necessary to the understanding of your summary may be placed at the end of part I. Write the summary in a manner that will appeal to the general public if the local media should decide to print it. The summary should interweave the relevant, current research that is directly related to the conclusions drawn in the experiment. Focus on the benefits your knowledge will have to the people in the community.

Part II:

Bibliography – Highlight those references that are no older than 1992. Attach the original source verification slips. Include a glossary if necessary. (Optional)
